AI Powered Technology Foundations

Your child has finished Form Six. What next?

Give them the technology foundation they need for the AI era. In 12 weeks they learn programming, Python, Artificial Intelligence and data, then use the final month to build a practical project they can demonstrate.

The months after Form Six matter.

Your child does not have to wait until university to start developing practical technology skills. Ufumbuzi Labs Academy gives young people a structured start in programming, AI and data while helping them discover where they fit in technology.

Think. Code. Understand AI. Work with data.

01

Think

Computational thinking, logic, algorithms and structured problem solving.

02

Code

Learn Python fundamentals and begin turning ideas into working programs.

03

Understand AI

Learn what AI, Machine Learning and Generative AI actually are and how they work.

04

Work With Data

Learn Excel, SQL and Python based data analysis to turn information into insight.

8 weeks to learn. 4 weeks to build.

The program is deliberately split into two phases so students do not spend three months only consuming lessons. They build foundations first, then use them.

Phase One · Months 1 and 2
8 WEEKS

Learn the Foundations

Programming logic, Python, AI, data literacy, Excel, SQL, Git and GitHub, and Python for data analysis.

Phase Two · Month 3
4 WEEKS

Build Something Real

Choose a problem, build a solution, test it, document it and present a final project.

A foundation built for the AI era.

01

Computational Thinking

Logic, algorithms, conditions, loops and problem decomposition.

02

Python Programming

Variables, functions, collections, debugging and problem solving.

03

Artificial Intelligence

AI fundamentals, Machine Learning, Generative AI and responsible AI.

04

Data Literacy

Understand datasets, data quality, visualization and decision making.

05

Excel for Analysis

Formulas, cleaning, pivot tables, charts and reporting.

06

SQL and Databases

SELECT, WHERE, GROUP BY, JOIN and relational database fundamentals.

07

Git and GitHub

Version control, repositories, commits, documentation and portfolio building.

08

Python for Data

Pandas, NumPy, DataFrames, exploration and visualization.

They will not just watch. They will build.

The final month is project focused. Students combine what they have learned into practical work they can explain and demonstrate.

Data + Python

Student Results Analyzer

Explore performance data and identify meaningful trends.

Python

Personal Expense Tracker

Build a simple application for recording and analysing expenses.

AI + Data

AI Assisted Study Tool

Explore how AI can support a practical learning workflow.

Two touchpoints every week.

Students should not disappear for seven days between classes. The program keeps a consistent learning rhythm with one concept session and one practical session every week.

1 HR

Midweek Session

  • New concepts
  • Guided learning
  • Programming demonstrations
  • Questions and technical support
1 HR

Weekend Session

  • Hands on coding
  • Exercises and assignments
  • Project development
  • Feedback and troubleshooting

Learn from anywhere. Meet when it matters.

The core program is delivered online through two live sessions every week, so students can participate from wherever they are. Selected practical workshops, project sessions and mentorship activities may also be offered physically in Dar es Salaam where available.

Free content is everywhere. Direction is not.

Students are not paying for access to videos. The value is the structure around the learning: a clear pathway, mentor interaction, accountability, assignments, practical work, project reviews and career direction.
